Getting Help

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 and seek immediate medical attention.

Adults over the age of 18 interested in getting help for their substance use disorder through the C.L.E.A.R. Program will need to come to the Newton Police Department at 39 Trinity St. to get screened for the program. Each person is served on a case by case basis. Please bring a photo ID if possible.

Walk in hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday

You will then be paired with a certified Recovery Coach who will help you on your path to recovery.

If you have illegal substances or paraphernalia on you, you may turn it in and we will dispose of it for you.
You will not be arrested. You will not be interrogated. You will not be charged. All you have to do is come to the police station and ask for help. We are here to do just that.
